The installation conditions are a very important issue for air compressor and related equipment. In order to ensure the safe, efficient, and long-term stable operation of your air compressor system, please pay attention to choosing a suitable environment for installation.
1. Good ventilation: This is one of the most important conditions. The air compressor generates a large amount of heat during operation. Good ventilation can effectively reduce the ambient temperature, prevent equipment from overheating and shutting down, and extend the life of lubricating oil and components. The installation space should avoid being enclosed.
2. Clean, dry, and dust-free environment: Pollutants such as dust and fibers can clog air filters, oil filters, and coolers, seriously affecting efficiency and service life. A humid environment can exacerbate internal corrosion.
3. Suitable ambient temperature: The ideal ambient temperature for the computer room should be between 5 ° C and 40 ° C. Excessive temperature can affect the cooling effect; Low temperature may lead to increased viscosity of lubricating oil, difficulty in starting, and even icing damage to equipment.
4. Adequate space: Maintenance space: There should be enough space around the air compressor for daily inspection, replacement of filter elements, maintenance and other operations.
5. Equipment layout: Reasonable pipeline connections and maintenance space should be left between equipment such as air compressors, air storage tanks, dryers, and filters.
6. Solid and flat foundation: The air compressor generates vibration during operation and must be installed on a solid and flat concrete foundation. For high-power models, the foundation may need to be specifically designed to isolate vibrations and prevent them from being transmitted to the building structure and generating noise.
7. Power supply: The voltage, frequency, and phase must be completely consistent with the requirements on the air compressor nameplate. The specifications of the power cord should meet the maximum starting and operating current requirements of the air compressor, and reserve a certain margin. Independent air switches and effective grounding wires must be installed to ensure electrical safety.
8. Pipeline system: The diameter of the main pipeline should be large enough to reduce pressure loss. The main pipeline should have a slope of 1 ° -2 ° and a drainage valve should be installed at the lowest point to facilitate the discharge of condensed water. It is recommended to use galvanized steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, or specialized aluminum alloy pipes as pipeline materials, and avoid using plastic hoses that are prone to aging and impurities as the main pipeline.
9. Drainage conditions: Air compressors, air storage tanks, dryers, and filters all generate condensate water, which must be directed to suitable drainage ditches through pipelines. Do not discharge at will to avoid polluting the environment or causing water accumulation on the ground.
