Freeze drying machine, also known as refrigerated air dryer, is a type of compressed air dehydration and purification equipment. Based on the correlation between the saturation vapor pressure of water and temperature, it utilizes refrigeration principles to forcibly cool compressed air. This cooling process causes the water vapor in the compressed air to saturate and condense into dew at low temperatures, thereby separating and removing the moisture.

The compressed air entering the dryer is first precooled in the heat exchanger with the cold compressed air flowing out. Then, the precooled air flows through a refrigerant heat exchange evaporator and is cooled to dew point temperature. Moisture in compressed air condenses into water droplets and is automatically separated and discharged.

The processed dry compressed air and newly introduced humid and hot compressed air undergo secondary heat exchange and temperature rise in the heat exchanger before entering the gas pipeline. This can prevent condensation in the gas pipeline and reduce the load on the machine.
