The screw air compressor primarily consists of a casing and a pair of screws (or rotors). The working principle of this compressor involves an electric motor driving the screws to rotate through a pair of speed-increasing gears. When the tooth grooves of the two rotors separate, the space between the teeth increases, allowing air to be drawn in through the intake chamber. The teeth then fill with air. When the rotors mesh again, the space between the teeth decreases, compressing the air, which is then discharged through the exhaust chamber.
